The new google plus commenting system is quite advanced system as compared to old blogger commenting system.
I thought, I should enable this commenting system so I enabled it.
This commenting system looks far better than the old one.
It is more social and will also display the social interactions made on google plus.
ADVANTAGES OF GOOGLE+ COMMENTS
- Readers can comment publicly and privately in their circles.
- Readers will get the customize view options like comments from their circles, all comments etc.
- Your existing comment will not lost by upgrading to google plus comments.
- Look wise it is very far better from the old one.
ENABLING GOOGLE+ COMMENTS TO YOUR BLOG
- Sign in to your blogger profile.
- Open the blog in which you want to enable google plus comments.
- From the left menu tab select google plus.
- Mark the option saying Use Google+ Comments on this blog?
- Check your blog if the comments are appearing below your posts then you are done.
- If you can't see the google plus comments then continue reading.
GOOGLE PLUS COMMENTS NOT SHOWING UP IN YOUR BLOG
As you can see from the snapshot there was nothing new in the comment area. Infact my all old comments was gone. I were not able to find comments tab in my dashboard. Below my blog posts I were just seeing the number of comments. There comments were not appearing at all.
Now if you are facing the same problem then this is the right article for you. Actually google plus comments is not working in custom templates properly, this is because the widgets are in custom templates are also customized and this might be causing this error.
Now here is the easiest way enable the google plus comments in your blog with a custom template.
GOOGLE PLUS COMMENTS IN CUSTOM TEMPLATE
- Go to template and click on edit html
- Now from the top menus click on the last menu Revert widget templates to default
- You will see the list of widgets in your template
- Mark Blog1
- Click on Revert selected widgets
- Check your blog for google plus comments
